Yes the installation is done I changed the BIOS by using F11, I set it to the USB drive.

That's a one-time boot. To set this permanently you'll have to get into the BIOS using the delete key instead of F11.

No configured interfaces were found " Try to do it manually" comes up instead of the IP address.

I presume this is what FreeNAS is saying? Do you have the second interface plugged in as well?

The X10SL7-F has 3 network ports:

- one on the left, just above two USB ports. This is the dedicated IPMI port.
- one in the middle, beside two other USB ports and beside another port. This must be connected. It transfers all the data back and forth to your NAS.
- one on the right, beside the middle one and beside a blue VGA port. This is a secondary port and does not need to be connected.

As @marbus90 states, all you really need is the main port in the middle - IPMI data can be sent over that as well as the actual data to/from your NAS. If you want, you can also use the dedicated IPMI port.

However FreeNAS indicating that no configured interfaces were found means that at least the main port is not connected - it's either completely disconnected or it's not getting an IP address from your router.

It's your network, not FreeNAS. What do you have FreeNAS plugged into? A switch? A router?

You may want to try connecting your cable to that second interface, reboot and see if that works.

Number two, labelled "LAN1".

Number one, "IPMI LAN" is dedicated to IPMI. You can get IPMI data over it, but FreeNAS can't use it to send data and you'll get a "no interfaces configured" error if the IPMI LAN is all you're using.

LAN1 can send both NAS data and IPMI data over it - it's all you need, the IPMI interface is just a nicety to separate out IPMI data. As indicated earlier, this IPMI data doesn't amount to much.

Yeaaaaaahhhhhhhh........ I'm in I got the connection to FreeNas again.

What are the next steps seen from a structured way?

Load the former config-file and then plug the HDD or first plug the HDD and then load the config file. The only problem I do have is the fact that I only have a config. file from the former 9.2.9 installation.
I guess it make sense to install Plex from the scratch and crashplan as well.

The biggest nightmare are the owncloud files I have on the HDD, I hope those are not gone for me.

I can't find the EFI shell... after pressing F11.
I found the problem, it was the settings in the BIOS as I only set the USB drive as bootable and disabled the UEFI.

But I still don't know how to get the transfer from the PC to my NAS; I see in the terminal that I'm missing "mkfs.msdos: unable to create ipmi.iso"

You really should stick with the phase 16 firmware on your SAS adapter. The drivers in FreeNAS 9.2 and 9.3 are phase 16 (version 16.0.0.0-fbsd), and matching the versions is the only supported setup. Phase 19 is way too new.
