I am building a new (to me) FreeNAS server. I currently run FreeNAS on an old machine and was looking to upgrade to server hardware.

Over the last couple of weeks, I have purchased a CPU, RAM, MB, hdds, etc.

When I went to test the components yesterday, it turns out that the motherboard I purchased off of ebay had 1 bad RAM slot and a broken pin for the front panel power button. I am returning the item to the seller for a refund. The motherboard I am having to send back is a SuperMicro X9SRi-F. Ideally I would have liked the seller to exchange it as he has multiple available, but he has since blocked me for no apparent reason (he may feel like I am scamming him based on reading his past feedback responses to negative reviews).

Since I already have the RAM, CPU, etc. I would like to find another motherboard that is compatible with the other hardware I recently purchased so I don't have to start all over.

I'd like to keep the purchase price at or below $200 US, but if you feel something is great and is over that amount, feel free to still recommend.

Below are the components I need it to work with and what I need the motherboard to do.

1. CPU - Xeon E5-2670 v2
2. RAM - 8 sticks of Hynix HMT31GR7CFR4A-H9 8GB ECC registered.
3. 2x 60gb SSDs for boot devices
4. 6x WD 4tb reds (motherboard needs 8 SATA ports ideally)
I am placing all of this in a mid tower case that accepts up to ATX form factor.

Ideally I would like the motherboard to also have IPMI as well, but it's not required.

Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

Well, there are better models than that anyhow. No big loss.

I am not saying you have to buy this one, but it should be compatible with the components you already have and it has more expansion slots, so that makes it better in my book:

Thanks for the recommendation.

I also posted on reddit and this looks interesting to me. I would like to have your thoughts Mr. Moore.

edit: It's been a long day of travelling for work...this is the same board you are recommending. Took me doing a side by side in chrome to realize that. Sorry.

Well, that is the same board that I suggested and a really good price for it. You would want to chuck that "L" model processor and the heatsink too. Just resell those parts on eBay and use the board. The low-profile cooler on that board will be loud, if that matters to you, and you can get a better one for around $50. The processor you already have is better, so stick with that and you should be fine.
If you ever decide you need more drives, it is a really simple thing to put a SAS controller in one of the PCIe slots and add capacity.
You could also put a 10GB network card in one of the other slots.
That is the reason I like this board, lots of expansion possibilities. It should last 3 to 5 years easy and be a great performer.

Yeah, I edited my original post. It's been a long day.
