Hi all,
I'm currently having a bit troublewith migrating to FreeNAS 8.0
I have a SoftRaid 5 with 4x1,5 TB Disks and UFS FS.
Curtrently I'm working on a VM and build up a similar setup. However, when I try to import the volumes, they are not shown in the GUI. Is it possible to import a softraid?
As I'm running out of space, I will need to add a bunch of new disks, so if nothing works, I could just add a ZFS pool in FreeNAS 7.2 and use it for the migration.
For that I would need another SATA controller. Which one is best for this purpose? (~100Eur max, sure Smartarray etc. would be nice, but it's also a lot of money ^^)
Cheers!
