Hi, I'm having trouble migrating from TrueCharts version of Plex to the official version. My goal is to preserve my watch history, metadata etc. The TrueCharts version appears to have a single volume, and I'm unable to find the "Plex Media Server" folder in this volume.

root@truenas[~]# zfs list | grep legacy | grep plex

Executing above line outputs below:

Apps/ix-applications/releases/plex/volumes/pvc-82134cc2-fd5c-4b02-8b6f-4102e1241d77 48.7G 207G 11.8G legacy

So the dataset is visible and appears to be using a significant amount of space, indicating that my Plex data is indeed there. However, attempting to interact (ls/grep/cd/mount/unmount) with this dataset in any way results in error message: "No such file or directory"

Did anybody have any luck with this?

It may be best to ask the TrueCharts folks on their discord for help with them on this.

You'd use Heavyscript to mount the app storage for Plex, then copy/tar/whatever to back that up. Then install the "official" app instead, and put the data wherever it wants it to be (I've never worked with the official Plex app, so can't speak further to that).
