Hi. First post.

I current have a FreeNAS 9.2 server, which has performed faultlessly for years, currently uptime is 418 days. Only got reset when we moved house :)

I'll be building a new server soon, using FreeNAS. The old server is running 9.2.1.5 and there are two drives installed, NOT in a RAID.

I presume it will be as simple as removing the drives from the old server, putting them in the new one and 'Auto importing' the volumes? Or whatever the option is in the current release?

Thanks in advance.

Correct, as long as they're ZFS volumes. FreeNAS 9.3 and newer no longer support UFS. The option is now called "Import Volume".
