Migrate Truenas USB install to other new system

Hye,
I am running Truenas version
Version:
TrueNAS-12.0-U8.1

I ma running OS form usb . Now I want to migrate to new system with larger drives. What steps are to be carried out for this migration? Any guidance appreciate Thanks

1. Save config from old USB install.
2. Install TrueNAS on new drive.
3. Import config on new install.

You didn’t specify any pools but you would need to export all pools on old system, the import them again on the new install.

If you import your old configuration, you may need to re-do the network configuration from the console. This is because the actual address of the NIC, or even the model or brand of the NIC will likely change.

note that you should be avoiding USB drives when possible, including the boot drive.
that recomendation was changed like 8 years ago with the move to zfs boot.
