Hi,
FreeNAS 11.2U6
currently I use 6 disks each 4 TB of size. One drive is failing which I plan to replace. Since I wanted to extend my volume capacity I'm thinking about replacing this 4 TB drive with an 8TB. In the future (as money is available) I would like to replace all the other 4 TB drives with 8 TB drives, except one.
Is it possible to just go to 5 times 8 TB and then just remove the last 4TB drive?
RaidZ2 with 5 times 8TB is enough instead of 6 times 8 TB.
thank you
