Hi I am NEW to FreeNAS(not by choice and sorry for any lack of information and ignorance on my part).
I am the only person on staff with any IT experience - however I do not have ANY experience with FreeNAS. The only knowledge I have is what I have been reading the past couple of hours on forums.
This FreeNAS device(a very important one) allowed several people to store their files via a shared folder on their Macs. I was able to make changes to the folders, contents, and users by inputing the ip address in a web browser. Now it no longer shows up on the Macs and I get the "can't connect to server" message when i try to access it with a web browser. I have rebooted it and I am able to still ping the ip successfully after typing in service netif restart but I have no idea how to fix this.
