I'm trying to figure out the proper share settings for my Truenas Scale. Would like to have the bulk of my disk big easy to access on the home network between 2 windows computers and a linux (arch) for sharing photos/videos and other media then run backups to storage. But maybe the backups need to be on a separate share?
I'm not working about guests accessing our storage as we have a closed network for guest's wifi. The 3 shares in contention are iSCSI, SMB, and NFS. But I'm at a loss at which direction to go in my case? Which shares are compatible with windows/linux and able to auto mount?
Thanks in advanced!
