I build a FreeNAS machine with 3 Nic cards. I am using 10.0.0.140 ip address on (re0) primary card or external card. I want to join 2 secondary Nic cards (em0,em1) together through LACP. I can ping to 10.0.0.140 before conferring the aggregation. When I configure LACP aggregation and give it 10.0.0.243 ip then I can't ping to 10.0.0.140 until I plugin em0 and em1 in the switch.
The point is I don't want to use or plugin link aggregation ports (em0,em1) until I need it. What is the issue between aggregation link re0 card?
