I haven't used link agg on the GS108Tv2, but I can report that I'm very pleased. I picked up one of these to mount behind our TV, since it seems that these days everything needs an ethernet (TV, receiver, BluRay, TiVo, AppleTV, game console, etc) and I hate relying on wireless. It's small, it's low power, it's worked flawlessly. I believe it's all metal and is designed like most of the older Netgear switches and hubs. I hate the external power but that's just me.

I'm getting a ProSafe GS108T-200NAS, it is much better than SLM2008T-NA.
Too bad my SRXN3205 router does not support PoE, it would of been sweet...
