What is the best option: Install SSL Lets Encrypt certificate through Cloudflare or use my own DNS using a jail? why?

I await recommendations. I am new to FreeNAS and I need to apply a certificate to my linked domain.

What do you mean by this? If you want to apply that cert to your FreeNAS server itself, see my resource:

If you're wanting to put the cert somewhere else, I'm not sure why the FreeNAS box would be involved.

I'm interested in adding a cert in TN13 core, is your above linked ressource always usable for TN13 without any change ? or it can't apply due to change on TN13?

AFAIK, that script should work fine on CORE 13.
