Hast Du das inzwischen klären können? Stammen die gezeigen Fehlermeldungen aus /var/log/auth.log?

Zurück zur Frage: Als Laie würde ich vermuten Ersteres (da klopft nur wer an). Ich kann vermutlich auch nicht besser googeln als Du.
