I'm belgian and i'm living in D.R.C. for many years now.
I just converted an old PC in freenas so I'm learning and I will probably need some help :)

Please read the documentation to ensure that your FreeNAS server meets the requirements.

Many YouTube videos or old articles you might find on the web that talk about using an old computer for FreeNAS are out of date and applicable with FreeNAS 8.x and later.

It's already installed and I think that my config is ok, when I said old pc it's just my old one, not a prehistoric pc :)

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
16Gb ram and freenas installed on a 500Gb ssd.

But like I taught, I have some prob....I posted in french on international part of the forum but till now no answer.

Hello,

I've tried to install the CA on FreeNAS by following the tutorial so I can use https but it doesn't work :(. After I've done all the tuto is saying I get a message saying my connection is not secure so the https doesn't work.
I can override the message on Firefox and the https then works but it's not a great solution.

I've a 4G connection to my Asus RT-AC68U router who then distribute it to my NAS and other devices.

Fascinating ! why ? lol. I'm living in Lubumbashi which is the second town of D.R.C. but I go sometimes in Kinshasa (can't live there anymore, that town is hell on earth for me).
