Hi everyone,
I'm here to learn and look for information. I've already used FreeNas in a simple usage : Stripping/Mirroring disks to store medias and critical documents my girlfriend needed.
Now i want to do something bigger. Buy a dedicated server (refurbished) and make a FreeNas boosted with Plex, Transmission (or something else) and Sonarr to power my house with all the content the web offers us.
I used to read the content from FreeNas with Kodi on a lite computer but now that i've a ChromeCast and tried Plex, i think that i'll just buy some of these dongle and have fun with it. I've already dedicated an old tablet to Plex/Netflix for the living room.
Nvm, i'm still learning more and more about hardware basics, dev, network and i'm here to achieve a real media provider for my flat.
