kernel error on installing Plex

I get the following error when trying to install Plex. I updated the IPv4 gateway which was empty, and made sure I was on the same subnet, yet I'm unable to reach the Plex server.

ng_ether_ifnet_arrival_event: can't re-name node epair0b

I have not found a solution to the ng_ether_ifnet_arrival_event, however the reason why I couldn't access Plex was because I hadn't turned the plugin ON apparently................
