Hello all. I've been using FreeNAS for about three weeks. I just finished my third FreeNAS system, all running FreeNAS8:

1. AMD Fusion E350 ITX, 3GB Ram, 4TB, 4GB flash drive. Installed in a 1U rackmount enclosure (old Barracuda Firewall). Streaming media to Apple TVs and HTPC's.
2. AMD Sempron 2800+ ITX, 512MB Ram, 1TB, 4GB flash drive. Installed in a 1U rackmount enclosure (old Barracuda Firewall). Serving as a Time Capsule for four Apple machines on the network.
3. P4 3.2Ghz, 1GB Ram, 1TB. Installed in old Antec Full ATX gamer tower.

My Mac G4 server is still the primary streaming provider on the network, but I'm slowly switching over to the first FreeNAS (freenas01) for that purpose. Rather than configuring internal RAIDs on freenas01, I've configured a synchronization script for the Mac to sync on Sunday nights. It powers on at 11pm, syncs all media to its internal SoftRAID, then powers back down upon completion. Ideally I would configure this between two FreeNAS devices (rsync?), or put all of my hard drives into one enclosure. I have:

3x2TB, 4x1TB, 2x750GB, 4x250GB between the four systems.

Any thoughts or questions regarding this setup are welcome!
