Jira isn't strictly "the forum", but it's the same kind of general thing - what the public see on ixsystems web pages and information. So hopefully it's OK here.

There are a number of very informative pages on Jira that require registration and an account to view, for no obvious reason. Im thinking mainly of the status page for ongoing projects and releases (https://jira.ixsystems.com/secure/release-management.board.jspa?id=3) but there could be others.

Can pages like this, that don't obviously need a Jira account and are viewable by the public if they do register, have permissions changed to not lock out unregistered read-only use and viewing by the public?

Thanks!

This is out of my control and I cannot say why things may be set as they are, but I can emphasize it to a few people who might be much more directly involved.
@JoshDW19, @Kris Moore is this something that can be changed or have that information mirrored here or some other solution?

I spoke to Kris about this and he has some ideas... Jira isn't really designed to allow public browsing from what I understand but Kris is going to look into it and see if we can find a better way to do this. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
