I have 3 regular/plugin jails...they are all in 192.,168.1.x/24
They are 192.168.1.80-84 and they can all ping each other.
The jail at 192.168.1.81, is virtual box, and it is running a centos6 vm
It is setup with an adapter, bridged, to ix1 on 192.168.1.88
Problem is that the standard jails cannot ping the centos6 vm, and visa versa. The centos6 vm can ping outside, name resolution is working, dns points to my cable router 192.168.1.1, it resolvs.
The jails just cannot get to the centos6 virtual box. Any ideas why? The centos6 runs the common services for the systems, like email, etc. But if a jail cannot see it, then email doesn't work :(
