Issue with new install

I just got a new install of the current freenas on my box with only one hd in there at the moment, it starts it pings its can get to the internet but when I go to the webpage all i see is code 1/10 the time i'll see an image. its not cpu overload "top" is at like 92% idle. Im out of ideas and its late for me so ill check this in the morning. Any help would be appreciated.

mb- asus m2npv-vm
cpu- amd 2ghz dual core
6 gigs ddr2 ram
160g wd hardrive

The system ran fine when I had it on ubuntu right before I wiped and installed, the only issue I had with install was outdated bios causing some acpi error, but an updated bios fixed that.

You're using consumer grade hardware and you're under the 8 GB of RAM requirement (and we know this kind of things can happen with less than 8 GB of RAM).

I recommend you to read the hardware recommendations thread (link is in my sig) to see what is wrong with your setup.

It's maybe not because of this that you have this problem (it can be a corrupted boot device for example) but we can't be sure until your server comply with the minimum requirements.

NAS4Free would be a better choice with that hardware. The hardware you have
will be a better fit for that software.
