Isolating second truenas

Hello please should be informed that I use Rsync function to synchronise the main truenas with the second one so I order to avoid ransamware propagation what is the best practice to put the second truenas on separated vlan and separated firewall port
What are the traffic shall communicate between them

SSH use port 22

If both servers are TrueNAS you should just use ZFS replication with your disaster recovery NAS pulling from the primary.
