I have a TrueNAS Scale box that has two interfaces.
One is 1GB which goes to a switch and out to the rest of the network and the internet.
The other is 10GB and is a straight cable to my workstation computer.
The 1GB has a static internal IPv4 address and autoconfiguration is turned on for IPv6 as my ISP is dual stack (FINALLY FIOS!).
The 10GB has a static internal IPv4 address (as does my workstation on that interface).
Now the issue is you can only enable autoconfiguration on ONE interface. Which i have set to the 1GB. But because I can not turn it on for the 10GB I can not even get a link-local address on the 10GB. It is like IPv6 is completely shut off on that interface.
How do I turn on IPv6 enough on the 10GB interface to get a link-local address?
