Since FreeNAS is based upon FreeBSD, can one install the package to make it work?

It looks partially installed but asks for a package that contains Linux libraries, this is what I get trying to install it:

[root@freenas] ~# pkg install emulators/linux_base-c6
Updating local repository catalogue...
pkg: file:///usr/ports/packages/meta.txz: No such file or directory
repository local has no meta file, using default settings
pkg: file:///usr/ports/packages/packagesite.txz: No such file or directory
Unable to update repository local
All repositories are up-to-date.
pkg: No packages available to install matching 'emulators/linux_base-c6' have been found in the repositories
[root@freenas] ~#

Any help would be appreciated. Looking to install this so IPMIcfg will run natively

you dont install anything on the base system.
im not sure what you want to achieve but if you keep trying it the way you are you will break your freenas box
