hello all.
i'm completely new to this and all forums so please let me know if I should be doing something differently.
today I received a brand new Drobo FS NAS server. by "new" i mean that it was found in its original box unopened. the hardware is a little over 10 years old now but my research shows that is software uses a linux kernel (Linux Drobo-FS 2.6.22.18) with BusyBox v1.14.2 (2009-07-29 17:47:47 PDT) multi-call binary. It uses and ARM processor (ARM926EJ-S rev 0 (v5l) MemTotal : 189028 kB). Any idea if I can replace the Drobo OS with TrueNAS? If so, what do i need to do to acheive that? it would be a shame to waste a new piece of hardware even if it is older tech so i'd love to be able to make use of it somehow.
thank you in advance.
