Installing the ServeRAID M1015

I got a ServeRAID M1015 board, me not knowing very little about this freenas, i would like to know how do i connect these 6 3tb drives up to it, confuseed, and what else do i need to get in order for this to work. The board i have is supplied IMB201 board only has 4 sata connections

No, the M1015 is a fairly dumb RAID card, but that's what makes it so appealing to use with FreeNAS for zfs. In fact the flash to "IT" mode makes it even dumber because it removes all the RAID functionality the card has. If you are planning to use zfs, the flash is something you will certainly want to do. My suggestion, assuming the rest of your rig meets the suggested system requirements, is to take the six 3TB drives and configure them in a raidz2 pool so you have 2 drives worth of parity\redundancy.
