Install
Error: plexfiles had a failure Exception: RuntimeError Message: + Acquiring DHCP address: FAILED, address received: 0.0.0.0/8 Stopped plexfiles due to DHCP failure Partial plugin destroyed
Step 1 remove the realtek nic, step 2 why do you have a /24 and a /32. That seems crazy to me. I would reset everything
not sure as my subnet is 255.255.255.0 should be 24

when trying to install plex

Error: plexfiles had a failure Exception: RuntimeError Message: + Acquiring DHCP address: FAILED, address received: 0.0.0.0/8 Stopped plexfiles due to DHCP failure Partial plugin destroyed

Is the DHCP server function disabled in your router configuration?

Realtek nic's are noted to have problems with FreeNAS

The pool doesn't have much to do with this... so "yes".

Do you have any active jails?

yes. this is not because I assigned my own FreeNAS IP address? DHCP is not on in the main ip config

I'm having trouble understanding what you wrote.
I am assuming your gateway is a router (Asus?). Is its DHCP server function active?

yes active on the asus router,

On the FreeNAS install I chose to assign my own FreeNAS IP is that anything to do with the issue here?

No, should not be.

Do you have any other jails besides the plex attempt?

OK, so go into the current plex jail and delete it, leaving you with no jails.

You have multiple routers in your network? You probably have double nat and that's messing things up. Only 1 router on a network unless you know what you are doing.

Set your jail ip with a static IP and all the other networking fields like you did for freenas.

DHCP and nat are disabled. the main ip changed as to 192.168.1.2 <gateway for that router.
