install Owncloud

I've got FreeNAS-9.2.0-RELEASE-x86 running from a USB stick on a netbook so I could try out owncloud. when I go to plugins, all I get are these:

bacula-sd
firefly
minidlna
transmission

any ideas why I'm not getting owncloud?

Yes.. use the 64-bit version of FreeNAS so you can install the 64 bit plugins...
