Install on Dell Poweredge R730xd stuck - mpr0: Reinitializing controller

I have tried different options, but stuck on install of FreeNAS 11.3, as well as TrueNAS Core 12 Beta.

This may be due to the change to the FreeBSD boot loader in 11.2. Try an 11.1 ISO, which still uses GRUB: http://download.freenas.org/11/11.1-U7/x64/FreeNAS-11.1-U7.iso

Are you sure this controller is in IT mode?

It says Firmware Type: IT

This FreeBSD bug report may shed some light. Some things to try:

• Flipping the setting of X2APIC
• Flipping the setting for HyperThreading
• Moving the card to a different slot

@Samuel Tai - thank you very much for pointer! Surprisingly X2Apic was the one which solved the problem. At least I was able to get through install.
