Install fails to boot / EFI partition empty?

Hello,
I'm trying to install TrueNAS Core on a Fujitsu W530 Workstation with Intel Xeon 1225 Processor and 32GB ECC RAM. Install runs fine, but afterwards I cannot boot TrueNAS. I tried installing with UEFI, BIOS does not even detect the OS (I checked, the created EFI partition is FAT16 and empty?), if I install in BIOS mode, it will hang with cursor immediately after BIOS is finished.
Secure boot, fast boot etc. are all disabled in BIOS.
What am I doing wrong?

Was able to solve it: Set everything BIOS to legacy and then TrueNAS could boot with BIOS/MBR
