Hi everyone,
I am currently running TrueNAS CORE on my QNAP with two disks as stripes.

In parallel I am building a servier where I will install TrueNAS Core as a VM on top of Proxmox.

Can I somehow import or mount the existing drives into the VM?

Thanks in advance for some guidance!

Proxmox is not a supported configuration for TrueNAS, and I suspect you will not get any comments - unless someone who just happens to have tried Proxmox sees your post. I would do two things:
  1. Search the forum for comments about Proxmox
  2. Edit the title of your post to include Proxmox
Just for my curiosity, why are you using Promox? If you were working with a bare metal installation, it would be simple to import the existing pools.

I use Proxmox quite a bit, but I've never had occasion to try to pass through a disk to a VM. If that's possible, do that for the two disks in question, and you should be able to import the pool. Otherwise, pass through a HBA to the VM, connect the disks to that HBA, and you'd be able to import the pool. As I understand it, though, PCI-e passthrough is kind of experimental in Proxmox, so I don't know what I'd rely on it being stable.
