Be sure to get/use an HBA instead of the hardware RAID controller that typically comes with HP's servers. Otherwise, yes, that should be fine. HP is typically well-supported by FreeBSD.

Be aware that HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen10s don't have iLO / BMC / IPMI.
And they use AMD CPUs which tend to be less supported than Intel. Last, there
was some discussion at least a year ago on some minor problems that now either
have a work around, or it's been fixed in FreeBSD / FreeNAS.
Of course, if you weren't planning on the MicroServer, then those don't apply...
