Hello,
I'm currently trying to setup nextcloud on my server. But I'm not sure what the best
approach to set it up would be. So here are some general questions I have:

* Should I open ports 443 and 80?
* How do I setup nextcloud to remotely access my drives?
* Do I need to do something with DDNS?

My current server setup has a syncthing drive that I can remotely access
using OpenVPN. I followed this video to do so:

I've spent all morning attempting to watch youtube guides and searching this forum,
but I'm honestly still so confused on how I should approach setting up nextcloud. Any
help would be appreciated.

Thanks

drjones, I know 443 and 80 are both used by truenas so forwarding those ports is not helpful I am having the same issue. I can access the nextcloud page on port 9001 on my local network, but I'm struggling to get it to access remotely. I've got the port forwarded, but in the truecharts version of nextcloud on truenas scale I can't figure out what is blocking it at this point. I suspect it has to do with the "trusted domains" setup for nextcloud, but I have no idea where the config.php file is to try to even set up the trusted domains.
