hey,
I have a question. I had this setup in a VM at first and that was using smb shares to access the storage folders. Now i was cleaning up and installed everything in jails/plugins.
My setup looks like this:
In separate jails i have: couchpotato, sabnzb, transmission and plex.
Now i have a few folders that all of those need to access. How can i configure all of those jails that thy have RW rights on the folders? in the past i had the same thing and i can remember something about needing to have the same user ID in the jail and in freenas but i cant find it anymore :( also is it possible to do this using groups? i seem to remember that i needed to set the user itself to the user of the jail else it wouldn't work... yea its been a few years when i found that tutorial...
For now as a quick solution i gave 777 to the folders but i want to fix this as soon as possible as its just not safe.
thanks,
sander
