Hello,
i have some a HP Micro Gen8 with two 2T HDDs in Raid. Freenas 11.? - don't remember. Booting from 32Gb USB stick. 4GB Ram. Run it for some years.
On it running NextCloud for backing up pictures and files from phone etc.
Some time ago it failed booting. I tried to mount the usb stick on a freeBSD to check it, but gives ZFS Errors. I was not able to read anything from it.
I ordered already a SSD to replace the stick.
Now my questions:
- Can i freshly install Truenas Core?
- Can i recover all the files on the 2TB disks?
- Will a new NextCloud installation recover somehow the old configs ? (maybe this should be addressed to a Nextcloud forum)
What would an experienced Truenas/Freenas user do in this case? :)
