Mobo: Supermicro X11SSL-F specs

UPS: Cyberpower CP1500EPFCLCD info (Australian version thereof)

So, in the event of a mains power failure, how do I get the UPS to tell the mobo to wait x minutes and then safely shutdown?

The UPS has a COM and a USB port, and directs than one OR the other be used. I presume then that a USB connection from the UPS to any of the USB connectors on the I/O panel would work? Or would use of a COM cable be better?

I did a search but was unable to find the answer - apologies if I;ve missed it somewhere.

Thank you for your help.

According to the manual the UPS uses 'PowerPanel personal edition' software. The site has downloadable version for Windows.

The site also states that is has several PowerPanel versions for Linux (deb, rpm, tar)

I assume that one of these would work with ZFS? If so which one? (I'm not familiar with the difference between the noted formats)

Ah he's from Brisbane. That's one of my favorite cities on the planet. Casino sucks though. That's a big minus.
