Hello all, I am trying to figure out how to delete a jail from FreeNAS (FreeNAS-9.2.1.6-RELEASE-x64 (ddd1e39). I am unable to find a Delete button in the GUI so assume it is only viable via CLI.

Could some one please explain the steps necessary to do this? I am very new to Linux/FreeBSD so steps are helpful.

Many thanks for any help you can provide.

No, there's a delete button in the GUI. See section 10.2.1 of the manual--when you click on one of your jails in the list, you'll see a row of buttons below the list, and one of them will be the delete button (trash can icon).

That did the trick! I didn't think to look there as I was focused on just the Jail.

Thanks for your quick support.

When I had tried to remove a plugin jail by removing the plugin, the actual jail still showed up in my storage (this was several months ago, but it still confuses me). Was that a bug that's been fixed, or does it sound like something went wrong?
