I am having trouble to use tmpfs as a filesystem for /tmp. Is there a way to achieve this using FreeNAS?
So far I have tried several FreeBSD configurations to achieve this and have not succeeded.
After executing
mount -rw /
I added the following line
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs rw,size=1GB 0 0
to
/conf/base/etc/fstab
only resulting in FreeNAS not booting anymore.
If I first remove /tmp and then reboot the result is the same.
Any help is welcome!
