How to add existing Pools/Datasets with medias on it in Plex?

Hi team!,

I would need some help in this topics: I would like to add my existing Shares (Movies/TV Shows/Manga/...) on Plex in order to access them from outside my network (from my phone in the bus for example). I have searched and tested solutions for several days but none are working.
Is there someone that achieved this config?

Have you installed the Plex Plugin or made a plex jail?

First do that if you haven't.

Then add those datasets as mount points in your plex jail to somewhere like /media in the jail.

Add the directories in the plex library.

There are plenty of threads in this forum that discuss how to do this and how to deal with the permissions problems that may arise depending on how you do it. There are also a bunch of youtube videos on it. I think Lawrence Systems did one which would most likely be good.
