Hi guys

I'm pretty new to FreeNAS, but i managed to get sabnzbd and couchpotato up and running.

I had an old linux server where it was setup like this.

serverip:8080 for sabnzbd
serverip:8082 for couchpotato

Right now they are running on different ip's. How do i make the other setup with one IP and different ports?

Install them manually in one jail.

A jail is kind of like a VM. It has its own IP address and set of services. In order for you to do this, you would create ONE jail and install all the things you want in that one jail. That gives you one IP address and all the functionality you want.

I see, that makes sense. Is there any way to move them into a jail, or will i have to start over?

Also, is this the best approach?

I run all of those services in the same jail. I manually installed them all and it took a couple of hours getting everything configured but it was worth it to only have one downloads jail

Okay, i'll start over and try to put them all in one jail.

I'm very new to FreeNAS, so if you have any website with guides or how to i would greatly appreciate it :)

Thanks for you help!

Use guides for those applications intended for freebsd.

PS. You can copy over your configs too
