I'm looking at making a temporary build out of a desktop I have laying around, which I look at upgrading by summer time. (Purchasing house right now and need to keep costs down and reuse existing hardware if possible)
Desktop specs:
Lenovo K430
Intel i7-3770 - 3.4GHz
32GB DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 7500
610w 80 plus gold power suplly
I plan on using 4 x 4TB drives that I got for free from a buddy, so assuming I'm able to use the above for a few months, this will be a totally free build, unless I need to purchase a few small items.
My concern/questions start with the ciz75m motherboard in the above pc. It only has 4 sata ports and an eSata port. If I use those for the 4 drives, whats the best option for running the SSD for truenas?
It has an empty: PCI express X 16 slot and PCI express X 1 slot
And any of the above parts salvageable for a future build?
