I am new to FreeNAS , I would like to use FreeNAS as my home server. I have use NAS4Free before it is good as I expected but it seems hard to add more function on it.So I would like to study more on FreeNAS.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? FreeNAS is based on FreeBSD, which is one of the most stable platforms in existence.
