Long time on again off again freenas user going back as far as 2009. Recently (2 years ago) built out a new freenas box since i needed more storage than my stand alone was giving and stopped moving around. Never really did any talking on the forum but did follow and read the different posts. Saying that i am not all that great with freenas specifically but am familiar with many enterprise level san/nas's :) For my home i went through quite a few different open source/free san/nas's and am settling on freenas hopefully for the longer run :)
I've been through the early mid and recent versions of freenas, openfiler, nexenta, nas4free, storage spaces, etc, but freenas is definitely the one i am most familiar and happy with.

p.s anyone wanna share how to add the super secret masking of the system specs in the signature.
