help : share datasets with guest vm (without network)

hi all

just upgraded to freenas 11, i have all the cpu requirements....vm boot ok (ubuntu).
im trying to share my host dir /mnt/volume1 with my vm /mnt/shared

after reading around theres some tutorials about creating a 9pfs volume but cant seem to findout how to do it.....the tutorials and guidelines on freenas forum seem to be for coral and not freenas11.

anyone manage to sort this out?

Corral used 9pfs. I'm not aware of anything else that does, including FreeNAS.

9pfs turned out to have some important flaws that need to be fixed before it's deemed appropriate for a stable release of FreeNAS. There's no timeline on that, unfortunately.

thats unfortunate... iv even tried mounting as a normal network drive...still no luck.
