I am new to FreeNas and Linux and FreeBSD, I am a windows user and not that clever regarding that OS either.
I have been reading a lot of the posts and looking at YouTube videos to try and get a few pointers. I have a lot of questions. Thus far I have "Plex", "Transmission" and "SickRage" up and running. Five windows shares that point to datasets for family and work stuff plus others regarding "Plex", "Transmission" and "SickRage" file download and storage.
I have created a Rancher VM and got it configured (I think) and running with a host created in an Oracle VM (Open Suse) located on my main windows desktop PC.
Lots of questions to follow.... Please treat me like a 10-year-old and hold my hand as you explain things, assume I know nothing. Getting the services I have, working, has been down to the quality of the posts I have read or the videos I watched.
