Hi!
I'm new in this forum so thank you for having me.
I just built my first FreeNAS-System. I'm new to FreeBSD, but worked with Linux-Fileservers a lot back in the days (RedHat).
For the last 3 1/2 years, I had a Thecus-NAS running, which just didn't have the horsepower to run a Plex-Server with transcoding together with Sickbeard and Couchpotato. So, I bought a used HP Z210-workstation with a Xeon-processor (3,4GHz, 4C, HT, 16GB ECC-Ram) and installed the 4 2TB-SATA-drives there. Works like a charm.
Thank you for building such a great community and I'm looking forward to "talking" to you guys.
Greetings from Graz, Austria.
