HDD failure...replace with ? (is WD Red+ standard still?)

I built my server several years ago and used WD 3TB Red drives (4 drives).
A couple failed a year or so ago. Now another one has an unreadable sector.
I was about to buy another WD 3TB Red+...but figured I would check in.

Is there a new "standard" for HDD to use in these NAS systems? I think at a price/TB WD was the best.
But, does that still hold up? Should I be changing to another manufacturer at this point? Or the (+) is still good for a home NAS?

Just make sure whatever you get that it's a CMR drive and not a SMR drive.

If you wish to stay with those slow and power efficient WD Red drives, then you must get the WD Red Plus as they have changed the naming. I WD Red will not work well in TrueNAS. The Plus model is CMR which is a requirement.
