Hi,

I upgraded to 12.0-U2 and during boot I'm now getting the following message:

Code:
…
Starting zfsd.
Checking SAS92xx HBAs firmware
Checking SAS93xx HBAs firmware
Found old firmware version 12, updating to 16
Firmware image /usr/local/share/firmware/mpr_LSI3008-IT_p16.firmware.bin not found
Checking HBA94xx HBAs firmware
HBA firmware check complete
…

Is this a reason for concern? Should that file be there? Do I need to take any action? The system is working fine, including the LSI3008. No problems (so far).

It just means you HBA firmware is down-level but there is not an image to upgrade to in TrueNAS.
You can find the firmware here if you want to flash it :

Is it expected that the file is missing? Should I file a bug report? If there's no reason to upgrade the firmware, I'd just leave it as it is.

If TrueNAS wants to install p16 then there is probably a reason.
You could usefully raise a bug report.
