Looking to upgrade my "old PC build" need to expand and hopefully cut power consumption down.

This will be doing basic NAS functions as i have servers to handle trans-coding serving both media and backup storage.

Thinking:
Rosewill RSV-L4500
ASRock C2550D4I (a little nervous about the reliability)
WD red 3TB x5 (I have these from the current build might add 2 more. will be running raidz2)
Coolmax M-500B (i have it kicking around its new in box but its a cheapo part might upgrade to something better)
i have an LSI 9211-8i thats not being used also that i might or might not use as i hear the Marvell controller can be a pain
load the whole thing up with fans

Now for the questionable part i'm hoping i can save some money on.
I have 4x 4GB 1333MHz 2Rx4 ECC Reg Memory Hynix HMT151R7TFR4C-H9 from a dell server.(https://www.skhynix.com/eolproducts.view.do?pronm=DDR3+SDRAM&srnm=HMT151R7TFR4C&rk=20&rc=module)

anyone want to look this over and give some suggestions.

A NAS will only draw the power it needs

Normal hardware is very economical, and draws the same power at idle as low power systems, and can draw more power if needed

I would not use that board, registered RAM is not compatible with it either

Have Fun
