Here's the thing, the G-360 and 450 will be fanless as well. you need to size it big during the short-term spinup current, but after that it sits at <30% load.

You can throw 2x2TB Reds into a mirrorset -> redundancy. Expansion via adding further mirrorsets. or you backup the 2TB of data and move to a new 6disk raidz2, on which you can upgrade via replacing existing disks with bigger ones.

Yeah, well maybe i exaggerated with 90% but a fair few of them see PSU manufacturers . Seasonic design most of corsairs power supply versions but do not follow up the manufacturing process of the full range this is why corsair sprung up from nowhere with their power supply's and instantly gained a good rep (because they where Seasonic).

From Corsair's current lineup, only the AX760 and AX860 are Seasonics. AXi are Flextronics, RM are mostly CWT, as are HX, CS, CX and CX-M. There are three RM designs, all by different OEMs.

I don't think the G-Series has semi-fanless operation. Only the X-Series and up do.
