Hi,
i'm an oldtimer with bsd have been using freebsd long and zfs since a year.
Visiting a freenas seminar made me interested enough to get a hp microserver
and start testing. I'll be back with comments

Welcome Peter, looking forward to your experience and contributing to the forums. The HP microserver seems like a great choice. If I was going to do it again, I'd probably get one. The only potential problem seems to be the network controller. Anyway, if you get a chance, take a look at the links in my signature for the Unofficial FAQ and other Official documentation.
